knew as a young boy that his calling would be to the graphic arts. Couches, walls, refrigerators and any flat surface were the canvas' that bore his creativity. Many of these masterpieces are found in a dusty old box in his mother and fathers attic.
While attending Penn High school he took classes in studio art that led to an internship upon graduation with Studio A Advertising in Mishawaka, Indiana. Along with this internship he also worked at Subway and became a bona fid sandwich artist. That summer was pretty much a blur for Todd because of the long hours at the studio and the many closing shifts at the restaurant.
In the fall of 1993 Todd attended Bethel College to pursue a Visual Communications degree with scholarships for art and soccer. Some of his favorite classes where fine art, illustration, children's literature and dorm life 101. To complete his degree requirements he spent two months in Sao Paulo, Brazil working an internship with the publishing house Editora Mundo Cristao.
After graduation in 1996 he put his degree to good use working at a warehouse as an order fulfillment specialist until being called to serve as a missionary with Life Action Ministries. He joined their design department in the fall of 1997 and cut his teeth as a designer there. It was a great job for Todd because of the different types of projects that where assigned as well as the realization that the art being created fulfilled his desire to use his talents for the Lord. He served at Life Action until 2004 when he joined the staff at Faulkner Strategies.
Todd is married to Kerrie, his wife of 4 years, and they have one son, Oliver, so far. More are to be expected based on the whole experience. They are both involved heavily in the Granger Missionary church. Todd has served as a trustee, youth sponsor, Sunday school teacher, conference delegate and offering counter.
Everyone needs an outlet and for Todd it is coaching soccer. He has coached four Jr. Irish travel teams and is currently starting his 10th year as the assistant boys coach at St. Joseph high school. Todd says, "It is very fulfilling to see how you can impact young men's lives with the discipline and team work that soccer can demands." He has had many successes and some colossal failures but in all the experience of coaching a team has brought many great leadership qualities to his life.
Todd's long-term plan is to one day own and operate an indoor/outdoor go-kart facility.
